In XX/XX/XXXX, I began the process of refinancing my equity loan with XXXX. The loan was transferred from XXXX to XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. This loan has never been late and each payment was made in full on time. I planned to complete renovations on my home in XXXX before I encountered an unexpected delay that caused the renovations to continue into XXXX. During the month of XXXX, I closed on the refinance on XX/XX/XXXX and expected the disbursements to occur within 3-5 days of closing. In fact, I received the disbursements on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX the loan with XXXX XXXX was transferred to XXXX Bank. At this point, I was not notified from neither XXXX XXXX or XXXX Bank that the payment was late. I was only notified that the loan has been transferred. On XX/XX/XXXX I was notified that Dovenmuehle Mortgage ( DMI ) reported my account 30 days delinquent. On XX/XX/XXXX I reached out to my loan advisor at XXXX for clarity and was partnered with the Care Team of XXXX to correct this reporting. I reached out to DMI myself and was denied twice even after submitting the requested documents. I submitted the email showing that my loan advisor advised me not to send a XXXX payment since the loan was scheduled for payoff ; my credit report showing the delinquent reporting ; and the email verification to show the date the loan closed. The first response from DMI stated the account was reported in good standing. The second response denied my request for changes. The care team of the financial institution that I am refinancing with reached out to DMI directly. They explained the timeline and how I was not at fault ; but, DMI responded and declined the request to make any changes. I have sent another email asking for a goodwill adjustment. I have never been late on any accounts. I have always maintained an A+ relationship with all banks and financial institutions. The missed XXXX payment was a mistake. This loan was being refinanced and transferred at the same time. I hope that with the help of CFPB that the reporting can be corrected.
