Mailed four written request to each credit bureau to dispute an unverified account on my credit profile. Under the FCRA you are required to have a copy of the original creditors documentation on file to verify that the information is correct. Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) & Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) a consumer contract with my signature on it. Received four written letters in return from each credit bureau after each investigation stating that the account was verified. Despite all four letters mailed I was never provided a copy of any documentation with my signature on it as requested. Yet, the account XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX still remains on my credit profile unverified. According to the FCRA section 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) you are required to promptly delete all information which can not be verified.
