Today, I called the fraud department at Transunion to make them aware that they have been in perpetual violation of the FAIR Credit Reporting Act ; despite the numerous disputes initiated with this consumer reporting agency since XXXX of XXXX XXXX. The agent, XXXX XXXX, was very dismissive even when nformed of these violations and insisted they had no authority to remove the erroneous information published by this agency. The agent informed the consumer that the most that could be done is to have a supervisor within the US reply to this complaint within 3 business days. ( XX/XX/XXXX@ XXXX ). One could only hope that this agency be held accountable just as other offenders such as XXXX, for how the so unapologetically inflict harm on the consumer.
