I am currently POA for my father who has been in the hospital since XXXX and he is still currently there. I am trying to handle all of his financial obligations. However since I am not recognized as a POA I can not pay on his account.I have sent them all paperwork starting XX/XX/22. I sent a total of 4 faxes to capital One. Each time being rejected for having an incomplete packet. I have fax confirmation letters to show that all faxes were complete. Each time I called and spoke to a representative they told me exactly what I needed. Reason for rejection : 1st time : no address for myself listed 2nd time : no copy of my drivers license 3rd time : cant read notaries signature 4th time : I have a letter saying I am missing the above info still along with missing my occupation. I called and spoke to a supervisor ID of XXXX she gave me her personal fax. She reviewed everything I needed in the POA submission which I confirmed I had. She confirmed she got my fax and sent it to the department that handles POAs. She told me 7 days. Today is day 7 and when I called in she stated they are still within their time frame. I asked to speak to a higher supervisor and she stated that they dont take phone calls. I asked if they could call me and she said No, they just support her. So I asked again there is no supervisor I can speak with and you can not call that department. She said that is correct as they do not have phones. She faxes them my packet. I said whos to say they got a complete packet she said she has a fax confirmation sheet. I replied so did I and I am still getting rejected. I asked if there is a grievance policy and form as I would like to make a formal complaint and she replied there is no grievance policy. It was on a recorded line and will reflect she said there is no grievance policy and no way of showing that the department that reviews POA applications actually got the full packet.
