I set up an online account with Experian in XXXX of XXXX in order to create a fraud alert and freeze my credit. I attempted to sign into my account on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and was unable to do so using the user name and password created during the initial online account set up. When attempting to reset my password, I was given a message that the password reset link was being sent to an email address I have never used and does not belong to me. Consequently, I am unable to access my online account because they have an email address on file that does not belong to me. I called repeatedly on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to speak with an Experian representative to correct the email address error and reset my password. I was stuck each time in an infinite loop with a virtual assistant trying to get to a human to help me with my issue. After hours of repeated attempts, I was unsuccessful in reaching a live person to help me. I am concerned that my online Experian account may have been hacked, but can not reach anyone at Experian to assist me. I have no idea how to proceed from here to get resolution to my problem.
