According to the FCRA, 15 U.S Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules of construction- The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through PERSONAL INTERVIEWS WITH NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS, OR ASSOCIATES OF THE CONSUMER REPORTED ON OR WITH OTHERS WITH WHOM HE IS ACQUAINTED OR WHO MAY HAVE KNOWLEDGE CONCERNING ANY SUCH ITEMS OF INFORMATION. TransUnion has failed to do a proper and accurate investigation on 8 different occasions from the dates they listed in their previous responses according to the FCRA and this is a violation of my rights and the FCRA. TransUnion has also failed to SPECIFY how the XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX was verified. The file I have attached to this complaint is a Copy of the Judgement with original creditor XXXX XXXX WITH THE TOTAL AMOUNT {$940.00}. There is also another party on the judgement as well. The address for the COURT HOUSE is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, DE XXXX, In The Justice Of The Peace Court Of The State of Delaware In And For XXXX XXXX, Court NO. XXXX. The Collection company XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting the amount {$5000.00} which is Inaccurate according to the copy of the judgment Ive included in this email and which Ive provided to TransUnion in the past which they have neglected to acknowledge the information provided. According to the FCRA, 15 U.S Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy- If, after any reinvestigation under paragraph ( 1 ) of any information disputed by a consumer, AN ITEM OF THE INFORMATION IS FOUND TO BE INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE OR CAN NOT BE VERIFIED, THE CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY SHALL PROMPTLY DELETE THAT ITEM OF THE INFORMATION FROM THE FILE OF THE CONSUMER, OR MODIFY THAT ITEM OF INFORMATION, AS APPROPRIATE, BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE INVESTIGATION. XXXX XXXX XXXX and TransUnion are violating the FCRA, MY RIGHTS, AND THE LAW BY REPORTING INACCURATE INFORMATION ON MY CREDIT REPORT AND FALSELY CLAIMING THEIR COMPANY HAS DID A PROPER INVESTIGATION ON 8 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. TransUnion credit reporting company are violating my rights and this is a defamation of my character.
