Transunion A complaint was filed with Transunion complaint number XXXX for reporting inaccurate information regarding names, addresses, fictitious child support information which has a XXXX balance and department of education debt regarding a balance which can not be proven to be owed by the consumer. Transunion has violated fair credit reporting act pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681b ( 2 ) -permissible purposes for consumer reports and 15 U.S.C 1681s- ( 2 ) ( b ) -Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies. ( B ) Duty to correct and update information. A person who- has furnished to a consumer reporting agency information that the person determines is not complete or accurate, shall promptly notify the consumer reporting agency of that determination and provide to the agency any corrections to that information, or any additional information, that is necessary to make the information provided by the person to the agency complete and accurate, and shall not thereafter furnish to the agency any of the information that remains not complete or accurate. The alleged third party debt collector XXXX/U.S. Department of Education nor did Transunion obtain permission to compel the use, alter and sell the social security number regarding an alleged debt created on the back of nothing when the consumer who is the original creditor extended credit which is due back to him. Such negligence also violates fair credit reporting act, fair debt collection practices act, 15 U.S.C. 1681c-1-identity theft prevention ; fraud alerts and active duty alerts, 15 U.S.C . 1681j-charges for certain disclosures, failure to investigate, violation of 15 U.S.C. 1611-criminal liability for willful and knowing violation, violation of 15 U.S.C. 1641-liability of assignees, 15 U.S.C. 1642-issuance of credit card which clearly states that no credit card shall be issued except in response to a request or application thereof. This prohibition does not apply to the issuance of a credit card in renewal of, or in substitution for, an accepted credit, violation of 15 U.S.C. 1640-civil liability, violation of truth and lending regulation Z regarding XXXX/U.S. Department of Education because banks dont lend money nor do they lend assets of theyre depositors, violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681n- civil liability for willful noncompliance, violation of 1681o-civil liability for negligent noncompliance, violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681d-disclosure of investigative consumer reports, violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681-procedure in case disputed accuracy and violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681l- restriction on investigative consumers reports, violation of 1028a-aggravated identity theft, violation of 15 U.S.C 1692k-civil liability , 18 U.S.C .1028- Fraud and related activity in connection with identification and grand larceny.
