On XX/XX/2022 I reviewed a copy of my credit report and noticed the following information regarding inquiry below to be in error. Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act states that the only permissible purpose for pulling a persons credit report is ( 1 ) a firm offer of credit, ( 2 ) insurance, ( 3 ) an application for employment, or ( 4 ) a court order. The following inquiry is not related to one of the allowable purposes, as I have reiterated from The Fair Credit Reporting Act. XXXX. XXXX XXXX I reached out to XXXX who was not of any assistance to address this issue and directed me to contact the credit bureau to delete this inquiry from my credit report. I contacted Transunion to investigate and provide evidence that XXXX says that they have pulled my credit report with my permission, then I exercise my legal right to ask for verification, including : 1 ) Name and title of the person who pulled my credit. 2 ) Date they purport that I gave permission. 3 ) Method they purport that I gave permission. Please include documentation of said permission. Transunion sent a response explaining why the inquiry is on my credit report and didnt appear to investigate this matter at all.
