REF : XXXX. Equifax is continuing to violate their grave responsibilities under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and are damaging my reputation in the process. In the above referenced complaint, they stated that the inquiries which I will attach, were a matter of FACTUAL record and they will stay on my credit file for 2 years because it is their policy. However, the LAW doesn't permit them to house any inquiries on my file. The LAW doesn't agree with their policy. In fact, Federal Law states that without direct consent from the consumer, they are not to disclose any information nor report information. Since they state that the inquiries are a matter of factual record, I am demanding the description of their investigation procedures pursuant to 15 USC 1681i ( 6 ) ( B ) ( iii ). Provide me with the names, addresses, and exact information provided by the people who helped you determine that these inquiries are a matter of factual record and you are required to provide this information within 15 days, so if you fail to do so, further action will take place.
