I have had my identity taken 2 years ago. At that time, only XXXX and XXXX offered credit freezes. Now Experian does. ( although, I had at least 2 credit cards taken out in my name through Experian between the time when they didn't offer it, until I had the 2nd card taken out last month ). I then froze my account with Experian last month. I am an owner of a small business and we applied for a XXXX XXXX Our bank needed to pull my credit. On XX/XX/XXXX I thawed my account through Experian. On XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX, my bank tried to pull my credit and could not due to it being frozen with Experian. On XX/XX/XXXX, I unfroze my account for another 2 days in hopes that would provide enough time. On XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX my bank tried to pull my credit and could not due to it being frozen with Experian. Today I tried to talk with someone at Experian. There were no " agents available '' to chat with. This occurred first thing this morning and has not gone away. I then called and got the automated system. There was no way to get to an agent, and I tried all of the options. I suspect that since I'm not a paying customer, I can not get through. I had the automated system CANCEL my freeze. This was confirmed on the website and in an email receipt. My bank tried again to pull my credit and can not. I filled out multiple complaints on the Experian Contact Form. There is no one to talk with ; the contact form does not illicit any phone number, there is no one to chat with ; and there is no way for me to do anything about the freeze that has supposedly been removed, but the bank says otherwise. This is delaying our company getting a XXXX XXXX and will cause financial harm.
