On XX/XX/XXXX, I requested a copy of the credit report from XXXX. I received the copy, Report XXXX. XXXX. The credit report has the following HUGE error - The social security number is not mine. The following additional errors as also present - 1 ) One of the names is not mine. Most of the names are variations of my name, and are accurate. and 2 ) The name of my curent employer is missing, and one of the past employers is wrong. I attempted to reach Experian at the telephone number they provided and also to create a report on their website. I was unable to get connected. Made serveral attempts. The Experian telephone number hung up on me three times, and I never got to a real person. Out of fear that the incorrect SSN could be evidence of or lead to identify theft, I called CFPB to help get Experian 's attention.
