I lived in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Apartments from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. During this period the staff at the apartment complex was stealing rent money from the tenants. We did not realize this was happening until we started receiving eviction notices from the court saying we had not paid 2-3 months rent. This was brought to the attention of the management team. They were aware of what was going on and was in the process of charging some of the staff with this crime. A case was filed against XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ( this was the only case I could find, but there was 2-3 people charged with the crime ). She was convicted of the crime. I was evicted from my apartment in XXXX of XXXX. Because of the eviction, I could not find any of the documentation I had collected. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sold my account to FMS Financial Solutions XXXX XXXX is no longer in business, XXXX XXXX now owns XXXX XXXX XXXX. FMS Financial Solutions placed {$7400.00} on my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. And again, on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$7500.00}, an additional {$90.00}. This amount includes attorney fees and court costs. It also includes interest from XX/XX/XXXX, through XX/XX/XXXX. Now let 's keep in mind I was evicted XX/XX/XXXX. So, I am being charged interest for XXXX years. XXXX XXXX XXXX, PC served me a " Writ of Summons '' on XX/XX/XXXX, to appear in the District Court of Maryland for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On the day of the hearing, XXXX XXXX and I had a conversation about the staff stealing the rent money and the fact that someone had been convicted of the crime. He asked the judge to postpone the hearing so that he could investigate it further. I received a " Complaint Affidavit/Merit Trial '' from the District Court of Maryland for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX filed a " Line of Dismissal '' with the District Court of Maryland for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. He dismissed the case. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX FMS Financial Solutions. I asked him since the case had been dismissed would he remove this charge from my credit report. He said no. He said the case was dropped because the lawyer could not prove legally that I owed the money. But that I still owed him the money. He further stated that I owed for XXXX and XXXX. I do not agree with that, and I stated that to him. He was adamant that I owed for 2 months. I said even if that was true is that {$7500.00}? He didn't answer that question. I asked him to write me a letter explaining why he would not remove this from my credit. He refused to do so. He told me I could write him a letter is I wanted to do that.
