After my attempts to reach out to Equifax in regards to handle this matter, it is to no avail, that I am forced to file this complaint and take all necessary actions by exercising my rights as a consumer. Pursuant to 15 USC 1692a ( 3 ), I, am, the consumer and natural person. Without my permission or authorization, Equifax assumed their role, as stated in the congressional findings in 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 3 ). Pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ), there is a need to insure that they exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for all consumers ' right to privacy. Equifax has been unfair, using unlawful adverse actions, violating and not respecting my consumer 's right to privacy, as well as, not adequately protecting my personal information, as a consumer. Equifax has continued unauthorized use of my credit report, allowing my personal information to be unlawfully accessed by and shared to unauthorized 3rd parties and unauthorized users. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( b ) ( 2 ) the furnishing of a consumer report must be in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Therefore, I demand that Equifax immediately cease and desist all furnishings or reporting, and unauthorized use of my personal information. I also demand that they send me all files containing my personal information, as requested. Equifax has violated federal law and my consumer rights so, as a result of the damages and sufferings, I demand monetary relief ; violations are liable for up to {$1000.00} in damages, per violation, under 15 USC 1681n and 15 USC 1681o.
