XXXX XX/XX/2017 / account # - ( XXXX ) / amount {$2100.00} I did not open this account. I sent a letter to the debt collecting agency over 30 days ago, no response. I also reported it on the XXXX XXXX and instead of verifying the requested information it was considered " verified ''. A copy of my signature on an original contract was not furnished at the time of this " verification '' process. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit report. Otherwise anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail or email in a fraudulent account. Please note, since I have already sent this letter over 30 days ago with no response my rights have already been violated.
