I believe Wells Fargo purposely kept saying they hadn't received documents for my loan modification and asking me to resend ( over and over again ) while they waited for the interest rates to go back up. I was told that if I did a loan modification that my payments would go down but instead they went up! Something that was supposed to help us with all the financial trouble we had because of CoVid has instead added so much stress to our lives.
