I originally got XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX and had the account for a few months before I fell on hard times.The account never shows any of my on time payments. The account then started to show late payments which I understand, but they have consistently reported late payments throughout all of XXXX, XXXX,. XXXX, and XXXX of 120 days late. I have tried disputing the information as inaccurate on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX but to no avail. The item should have been written off as a charge off from what I read online. But I read on a credit forum that they are doing this to keep the account active and get around the stature of limitiations and also the 7 year rule for Credit items. This is highly illegal which violates the FCRA and FDCPA on a state level and federal level but keeping the item active. When I log into my experian report it does not even state the date the item will fall off because of what they are doing. They are purposely keeping my credit low with late payments and dragging it out to keep my scores low.
