I recently was made aware of my credit report through XXXX XXXX that I was delinquent in two payments to CapitalOne. However, it wasnt my lack in not paying it was purely a misunderstanding. My account was normally being withdrawn each month with my set payment of {$100.00} as my minimum balance due previously was around $ XXXX {$30.00} per month. I have been trying to improve my credit score ( which was XXXX ) further by having better revolving credit use however my min balance had risen over the excess of what I was additionally paying. I've never, ever in my life had something like this happen and I also have never ever missed a payment. This is why I was unaware of any issues and CapitalOne was accepting and processing my {$100.00} payments each month even during my " delinquency. '' They have reported to credit bureaus that I missed 2 payments but they did in fact accept and process my monthly auto payments so that information is incorrect. I have since paid the remaining money and also paid the card off in its entirety. I wrote CapitalOne with this information, printed evidence, etc. and I received a response letter from them on XX/XX/22 that states they are required to report the account history accurately and they are unable to change their reporting on a courtesy basis. I completely understand that however, they still accepted and processed my payments so that information is not correct that I completely missed or was delinquent on paying. My credit score due to this has dropped over 140+ points and its detrimental to me.
