I went to a XXXX for consult on XXXX procedure on my XXXX. She proceeded to take a sharpie and make marks on my XXXX explaining very little about the procedure but emphasizing the cost and forms of payment. I paid for the consult and left her office then asked my primary physician for a different referral. Shortly after the visit I received a call ( from a rude office rep ) regarding my initial visit and wanting to schedule the procedure. I informed them I had already been in touch with a different Doctor and wouldn't require their services. She then responded " good luck with that '' and hung up the phone. Another reason I did not want to use this office. Three to four years after the fact a collection showed up on my credit report. I contacted them and once again received rude treatment and was told it was out of their hands because it had been turned over to collections. I have protested this through the credit reporting agencies and asked for proof of agreeing on any other charges other than the initial office visit, nothing produced. I would like this negative/false information removed from my credit report. I've worked very hard to maintain a positive credit rating.
