Consumer Narrative

XXXX Below is a direct quote from XXXX. " Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we are required to ensure that our credit reporting is accurate and that we report payments as we receive them. We previously confirmed in our letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, a copy of which we have enclosed without the original enclosures, that we are reporting accurately to the credit reporting agencies. Our latest review confirmed our credit reporting is accurate. We are not able to assist with your additional concerns with XXXX. We recommend you contact them directly for more assistance. After reviewing your inquiry, we found no instances of deceptive tactics. We confirmed we applied your payments as we received them. Our credit reporting is accurate. '' Please explain in detail how XXXX is reporting accurately. XXXX shows XX/XX/XXXX as 60 days late Transunion shows XX/XX/XXXX as 30 days late It took me exactly 3 minutes to look this up. Is that what accurate means? You report 30 days to Transunion, and then you report 60 days to XXXX? THAT IS ACCURATE REPORTING? XX/XX/XXXX Transunion reported 30 days late, and XXXX reported 120 days late. THAT IS ACCURATE REPORTING? XXXX reports payments made for XXXX and XXXX of XXXX plus XX/XX/XXXX ( 3 months in a row ), then out of nowhere 60 days late in XX/XX/XXXX. How is it possible to make 3 payments in a row and then have a 60 day late payment on the XXXX month? No deceptive tactics? XXXX literally closed my XXXX checking account in XXXX and held thousands of dollars, hostage, for 3 months, preventing me from paying on my mortgage. It was somewhere between XXXX That's not deceptive? XXXX stated on their insurance claim website that they would send me multiple payments to pay off my roof. MULTIPLE. Then refused to send me the first payment after I got someone to come out to CONFIRM it was done. XXXX forcing me to pay the contractor who did the roof out of pocket preventing me from making my mortgage payment on time. That is not deceptive practices? Please explain. Don't give me a cut-and-paste answer either. Delinquincy date of XX/XX/XXXX. Really. That's accurate? The account was never brought up to date, which makes it impossible for that to be the delinquency date. Yes deceptive tactics to keep this on my credit report for another 5+ years.
