Upon applying for a loan to buy a vehicle, it was discovered that Equifax and XXXX both can not verify my identity. I have called Equifax multiple times to try to fix the situation, and was told I needed to send them supporting documents in order for them to verify my identity. After sending what was required and calling them multiple times, they claimed that they did not receive my information. The last two times I have called them asking to speak to a supervisor, I have been placed on hold for a total of over a hour and a half, eventually leading to them disconnecting the phone call. I have mailed and faxed Equifax multiple times, each time ending in the same result. Ultimately, I have not made any progress into the issue, and I dont even know why the underlying issue was caused. I am unable to receive information about whether my identity was stolen, or it is something along the lines of my name or address being misspelled.
