we previously filed a complaint about this and the company responded that there were no payment accounts added and no payment attempts had been made, this however is blatantly FALSE! The attached screenshots of our prospers account CLEARLY show that there are 2 PAYMENT ACCOUNTS currently added to this account, both checking accounts were added when we registered for online access back in XXXX! The screenshots further show the error message we receive when trying to make a payment, this error has been persistent since may, we have send a total of XXXX emails to the customer service in this regard and never received a answer! As far as the claim of the company concerns that no payment attempt has been made we have a RECORDED conversation with the customer service department of prosper marketplace in which the agent CONFIRMS that she could see a total of 3 failed payment attempts! It is correct that i did not give bank account information over the phone, first of there are already 2 bank accounts added to the account for payment and customer service should be able to initiate a payment over the phone using this information, i have several credit cards from other issuing banks and with every single one i can call in and make a payment over the phone WITHOUT having to give my account information! Prosper further claims that they requested further information from me in response to the XXXX Claim however this is also a lie as i never received any follow up from prosper after a confirmation email was received on XX/XX/22 stating that due to a high volume of messages a response would be delayed! At this point it is questionable to me whether prosper is a legitimate business or a predatory lender using questionable business tactics to cash in on people with less than perfect credit, the events and untrue responses to the previous complaint surely seem to suggest so. I have also conducted further research into this and it seems there are quite a few other customers out there with similar problems
