XXXX XXXX fraudulently reported a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX, amount {$650.00}. I contacted XXXX XXXX today - XXXX - to inquire about this account. They stated that they sent out 1 letter on XXXX. When I informed XXXX that I had not received this letter, they informed me that it went to the wrong address. When I asked why they would then report it to TransUnion on XXXX, the representative claimed that they do not report to the credit bureaus. I told her that I had contacted TransUnion, who informed me that this was reported by XXXX. She still claimed that they do not report to the bureaus ; so I asked her if they didn't report it and TransUnion did not, how did it get on my credit report. Her response was that I should file a police report and immediately disconnected the call.
