I am filling a complaint against EOS CCA debt collector for my XXXX account. I contacted EOS CCA on XX/XX/22. The full balance of the account was {$1300.00}. I was granted a settlement to pay 60 % of the balance. I paid {$820.00}. I was provided a confirmation number XXXX. I received an account settled in full letter on XX/XX/22 from EOS CCA. The letter indicated that I paid the amount agreed to settle the account and their records show a {$0.00} balance. They have reported to all 3 credit bureaus that I have a XXXX balance. I requested for the debt to be removed and deleted, since the account has been paid. I spoke with XXXX a supervisor with EOS CCA. They are unwilling to remove/delete the balances from credit reports after the debt has been paid. I'm relocating to GA and trying to purchase a home. EOS CCA collection item on my credit report has been paid and should be removed from my credit report. I have requested other debt to be removed from my credit report once it was paid. Within 30days those items were removed. Due to the debt still showing on my credit report, it is causing injury to myself and my family. Even though it shows paid and I have a settlement letter, it still appears as a collection. This appears unfavorable. I feel my rights are being violated. This is a unfair practice and is negatively impacting me. I would like this reported and be removed from my credit report.
