After research of the update, I believe the account / auto loan XXXX has reset the 7 years and 1 haft statutes of limitations. Updated in payment history was not properly reported Information is also missing from Agencys After researching, I believe this report remains extremely confusing and is not clear and accurate. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 602 ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting. ( 1 ) The banking system is dependent upon fair and accurate credit report- ing . Inaccurate credit reports directly impair the efficiency of the banking system, and unfair credit reporting methods undermine the public confidence which is essential to the continued functioning of the banking system.
