Consumer Narrative

I was using XXXX XXXX merchant bank to take payments. My contract term was XXXX months. I began my service with XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX and emailed XXXX XXXX at XXXX that I would be canceling my account in XXXX of XXXX. I was told by XXXX XXXX that my account terms had not been met, due to an auto renewal. I was confused as I never received any communication be electronic mail ( or any other form of contact or renewal reminder notice ) that would have alerted me that this account would be auto renewing. After several attempts to get answers from XXXX I was ultimately sent an email with a contract. When I ask why I did not receive a renewal reminder notice I was ignored. I began taking money with my new merchant " XXXX '' on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX continued to debit my bank account in XXXX, so I called my bank ( BOA ) and ask them to block XXXX from debiting my account at XXXX. I had never received ant type of bill from XXXX to explain charges. The first time I saw a bill was from XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I was contacted by XXXX XXXX at Caine and Weiner ( a debt collector ) with a bill for {$610.00} stating my account was only active for 26 months ( even though the bill also stated that the account was open on XX/XX/XXXX On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I emailed XXXX ( rather than phone conversation we had had in the past ) I voiced my concerns regarding the 26 months listed on the bill being incorrect and that I did fulfill the terms of the contract. Then, on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me an email that asked me to send the email I sent to XXXX XXXX regarding the closing of my account so they could hopefully get things cleared up. I did forward the email and hoped this will end the collection process. On XX/XX/XXXX I found a negative report on my credit report from the company Caine and Weiner. I emailed them. This time a new employee took over my case named XXXX XXXX. I had XXXX emails that transpired between myself and XXXX XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I ask XXXX to send me validation of this debit as I had fulfilled the contract of XXXX moths. I ask her to find out why the bill said I only had completed 26 months and forwarded all my prior conversations that I had with XXXX to XXXX. She responded to me with a new bill for {$760.00}. I ask her why this now was {$760.00} XXXX, wrote back that additional interest had been added by XXXX. I then told her I had not received a bill for those charges. XXXX wrote on XXXX XXXX that she would be contacting XXXX again to see if she could get more information. She said she did not know how long that would take and to please bear with her. Then she wrote again and said the extra fees are charged by XXXX and XXXX and still no bill was sent to me. On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote XXXX and ask for the collection to be deleted from my credit reports due to the fact that Caine and Weiner has not been able to get their client XXXX XXXX ) to send a debt validation letter in the span of 6 months. XXXX wrote back that she was sorry, but their client had not gotten back to us here at Caine and Weiner. I was told to move forward with a credit reporting dispute by XXXX. Then I was sent an email that told me not to contact XXXX and only communicate to Caine and Weiner. For the reasons stated above and the fact the company has not been able to get a response from XXXX to validate a debt owed to them, from XXXX ask that all the collection accounts, on all my credit reports that have been place by XXXX and/or Caine and Weiner be deleted from my credit report. I also would like to say that Caine and Weiner failed to respond to me for over 30 days. From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX. They have failed to validate the debt since XXXX of XXXX.
