I recently checked my credit report and discovered a lot of billing errors. mistakes in billing under U.S. 15. Code 1666 ( b ) the creditor 's failure to appropriately reflect a statement, a payment made by the debtor, or a credit extended to the debtor. a computation error or other accounting mistake made by the creditor on a statement. There shouldn't be any late payments on these accounts because, as far as I'm aware, the creditor didn't send me a statement 21 days beforehand. I demand to see specific documentation from the creditor 's bank accounts proving that I failed to pay and were considered past due because these are obviously billing errors.
