On XX/XX/2022 I send Experian a certified letter along with a copy of my passport, social security card, a utility bill and a bank statement to update my address. On XXXX, XXXX, 2022 Experian sent me a report number : XXXX. I called the number and Instead of updating my address they did nothing. In other words, I don't have an address showing on my consumer report. 15 USC 1681e ( b ) states : Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. They have violated that law. Because my home address isn't being reported, I can't obtain credit from any lender who pulls from Experian. This is impeding my ability to obtain credit.
