On XX/XX/2022 I purchased a service from the company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The service I puchased was the installing of two new ceiling fans and electrical wiring through the attic needed for the fans to operate correctly. The total cost of the service was {$500.00} plus tax and a total charge of {$510.00} was billed to my Capitalone Credit card with numbers ending in XXXX. XXXX XXXX, the owner of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX came out to my condo and installed the two fans. Both fans were brand new in the box and both were tested to make sure they worked perfectly before they were installed. However, I discovered on the same day that he completed the job after he left my condo that only one of the fans was working properly. I contacted him numerous times through the XXXX messaging service which was the platform I used to hire him from asking him to either refund me for the fan which wasn't working or come back to fix the issue. XXXX XXXX refused to give a refund and also refused to come back. I attempted to resolve the issue through the XXXX dispute resolution process and XXXX was unable to resolve the issue and persuade XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Services to either return to my unit to fix the wiring or give me a refund. Because CapitalOne does not have a process when I can file an online complaint and because I want to save money on postage by sending letters through the mail, I would like to use this platform to officially file a dispute for one half ( {$250.00} ) of the {$510.00} charge since XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX only installed one of the two fans correctly and they were paid to install two fans. I will now need to hire an electrician and spend more money to correct the mistakes made by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
