Been dealing with this issue since XX/XX/2022 with Equifax of a file mixed up. Even after the dispute, police report, phone calls, Equifax is still addressing me by the wrong person and wrong poor credit score affecting me greatly. Even after sending in personal documents showing that its me. Which also proves you cant even trust to do that. This other person they have me mixed up with gets to reap the benefits of my once excellent credit score while I get the short end of the stick. Not only is this extremely scary to know this other person can see all of my personal information address social ect, they are able to get loans and credit cards off of my credit. I constantly receive this person mail of credit card offers while I was denied a car loan and missed out on getting my car due to this which I went all the way to another state to get, which is how I found out equifax made this huge mistake. The other credit bureaus display my correct credit score and information while equifax doesn't and wont change. Its displaying a poor credit score of XXXX I dont understand how this company can still operate dealing with peoples Personal information and life while making a huge mistake such as a file mixed up and nothing is being done. I must constantly send in my private information such as ID card and social security card to a company that receives it and still doesnt even acknowledge the wrong to fix it! This is absurd, terrifying and stressful.
