I was told that my percentage rate was 5.3 % with 21st Mortgage Corp . ..When I went to Re-Fi with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , they told XXXX XXXX that my mortgage was only 4.0 % ..Not once but twice. Because the first time I was locked into XXXX XXXX for 2.5 % but the guy doing my loan blew me off. So when I get the new deal from XXXX XXXX, it's now at 3.125 %. They waited till interest rates shot up again and I was convinced ... .If my rate is truly at 4.0 % it would be a waste of time and money to Re-Fi on 1 % difference .Why are they charging me 5.3 %.? Is it LEGAL to LIE to another financial institution, to convince me that it's not worth it to KEEP me paying that EXTRA 1.3 %? Because Thats what It came down too. Interest rates went up again and I'm Stuck.
