I took out a loan on XXXX for {$15000.00} On XX/XX/2022 I was contacted by best egg regarding a consolidation and refinance offering me a lower rate and payment on my EXISTING LOAN. I agreed. I asked if this was separate loan and they said NO THIS IS YOUR CURRENT LOAN. on XX/XX/2022 they deposited an additional $ XXXX into my account. I called in upset because as I suspected this was AN ADDITIONAL LOAN and they used PREDATORY TACTICS because I am a senior. I immediately asked that the loan be rescinded. They said I was still liable for the origination fees of {$790.00} ... and I refused to because I never authorized this loan. I only wanted a refinance of my existing loan. They finally agreed to remove it. But, to date it is still reporting on my credit. They provided a letter saying they remove it and they still have not. This is a huge hardship as I have been declined credit elsewhere due to their inaccurate reporting.
