Hello CFPB, On my recent Credit report for XXXX and XXXX I see a hard credit inquiry for the following : Inquiry : XXXX. XXXX, 2022 CAPITAL ONE BANK USA XXXX CAPITAL ONE XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX I did not make any recent inquiries/ applications and believe this to be fraud. Note this is in addition to another recent hard inquiry on my account CFPB COMPLAINT ID XXXX submitted on XX/XX/2022 which I was able to receive a letter of deletion. Thank you. I am attempting to take steps to prevent this from happening- I've frozen both my XXXX and XXXX XXXX of XX/XX/2022 and will be starting the dispute process once I can get a letter of deletion from the issuer. I was unable to reach anyone of help at Capital One by phone. I will be submitting a letter with this Complaint ID to Capital One to the following address provided on their website : Report Suspected Credit Card Fraud Capital One XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX Please let me know if you need any other information from me Thanks, XXXX
