As of XX/XX/XXXX, we as a family have decided to pursue improving our credit and enquired information on how to get approved on purchasing a home. XXXX XXXX contacted us and asked for more information on our credit standing. We were told that 2 XXXX XXXX bankruptcies from the year XXXX and XXXX were still active and it is hurting both my spouse and I 's credit score. We have confirmed from our previous bankruptcy attorney 's office that it has been resolved and it is in fact closed. In addition to that, we do not know any other information old or new that would otherwise impact our credit standing or credibility to purchase a home. Please kindly help. Thank you in advance.
