Hello, In XX/XX/2022, we were placed on a COVID forbearance plan that expired on XX/XX/2022. In that time, I applied for homeowners assistance fund that was available through the Florida Department Of Economic Opportunity. My application was approved on XX/XX/2022 and they stated they would distribute funds directly to my service provider which is XXXX XXXX to pay the amount due/past due amount on my Mortgage. Unfortunately, there wasn't a timeframe provided on when they would send the funds. It's been over a month. I've been in contact with XXXX to advise them of this, and they stated my account was protected even though my forbearance ended on XX/XX/XXXX. All they said i could do was stay in contact with them once I advised I was waiting on payment assistance and they are aware that the time varies on when the funds are sent. I called last Thursday and spoke with XXXX on the XXXX as i scheduled a payment for XX/XX/XXXX, to inquire if i should make my regular monthly payment now that my Forbearance ended even though i was still waiting on assistance due to me not wanting a late payment on my credit or my house to go into Foreclosure. I was assured it would not, and was advised to not make any payments until the amount due/past due was paid on my Mortgage by the Florida Department Of Economic Opportunity . I was assured this wouldn't negatively impact me, and XXXX even stated they spoke with their supervisor who even cancelled my payment that was scheduled for XX/XX/2022. Now it is XX/XX/2022, and XXXX XXXX and I both had our credit scores hit and they were dropped XXXX points. I am extremely upset, and i attempted to contact XXXX, XXXX today, and every time i contact the main customer service number, i get told due to high call volume, i need to call back at a later time. Well, i tried multiple times throughout the day at different numbers and can not reach anyone. I finally spoke with my lender directly XXXX XXXX XXXX, who transferred me internally to someone in XXXX, who then transferred me to another person. This whole situation is a nightmare, I just want our credit report fixed, and I want our mortgage protected until the funds are paid on the amount thats due/past due that was promised through the Florida Department Of Economic Opportunity .
