I was alerted by my identify theft alert program, XXXX XXXX XXXX, that a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX loan for approximately {$1500.00} was taken out in my name on or about XX/XX/2022, with an address in XXXX XXXX with the account. I have never done any business with XXXX, I never authorized anyone to take out a loan in my name, and I have never been to XXXX I contacted XXXX after receiving that notification, told them it was fraudulent, and was given a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX. The XXXX rep said they would mail me an affidavit to submit to XXXX to flag the account as fraudulent and that I would not be on the hook for the fraudulent loan. I never received an affidavit. I called XXXX again about a month or XXXX later and told them the same story again. This time I was promised that the identify theft department would investigate it but was not given a new Fraud Reference Number. Today, I received an alert from Transunion that XXXX reported this account as delinquent and it negatively affected my credit score by XXXX points. XXXX has not investigated this fraudulent account, has not frozen the account pending an investigation, and must contact the credit reporting agencies to alert them that I have no delinquent account with XXXX and that it was fraudulent.
