Consumer Narrative

Discovered on XX/XX/XXXX that someone ( probably a Pentagon Federal Credit Union member ) had " photoshopped '' a check I had sent in the mail to the IRS back in XX/XX/2022. They cashed a check for {$3000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and placed in their account at PFCU. I went into the local office and they placed a hold on the money and initiated a fraud case against the perpertrator. On XX/XX/XXXX the perpetrator again " photoshopped '' the same account and stole {$4300.00} out of the same account. According to PFCU I can not talk to the Fraud department and after almost a month my money has not been returned to my account and the overdraft fees overturned.
