My account for XXXX XXXX was closed XXXX of XXXX an account was opened by XXXX XXXX, without notification, my signature, my knowledge or permission. Closing and account affects my credit score, along with opening another account. I had not used XXXXXXXX one time since my original account, which was automatically closed after a year without use. I understand and am okay with that on my report. What I am not okay with is XXXX opening a brand new account on my credit when I had not once agreed to any of this, this is fraud, this is illegal in fact. They opened a brand new credit account without my knowledge and are affecting my financial situations. I received a letter from XXXX XXXX saying they reached an agreement with a new company and this is standard. This is not standard protocol to just open accounts under peoples social security numbers at will.
