My husband was awarded 100 % VA XXXX in the state of Texas in which he is exempt 100 % from taxes. The county provided a letter stating that we are now exempt from property taxes as of XX/XX/2022. Our mortgage company, Fay Servicing, has stated they were not accepting the letter from the county and would only except a tax bill showing the amount owed for this year. The county has advised that the invoicing does not occur until the end of the year and provided an estimated taxes screen shot, however, Fay servicing is still not satisfied. We are currently having to pay an extra almost {$1000.00} a month in taxes that we legally do not owe and the county has provided a letter stating the fact.
