When I decided to return the product ( a diamond ring from XXXX ) for which I requested the loan with XXXX, the seller ( XXXX ) of the product didn't credit my XXXX account, once they received the product back in their stock. I then opened a " Dispute '' with XXXX, so that they would investigate and provide a resolution. XXXX 's " Dispute Policy '' states that once you file a dispute, you are NO longer to make any monthly payments that come due until they resolve the dispute. At that point, I had already paid 2-3 monthly installments on time towards the loan with XXXX. With the account in good standing I then ceased to make any further payments, until I received their resolution. XXXX 's resolution was found in my favor ; therefore, I was no longer responsible for the installment loan. My account was credited and closed, and they refunded me the payments I had made previously. I am currently trying to make a large purchase, so I requested my credit report from all three credit bureaus, Experian, XXXX and XXXX. Experian 's data has the XXXX installment loan listed as " Potentially Negative '' and a 30 days late listed. I tried to ask XXXX to please contact Experian and remove this incorrect data from my credit report. I tried to file a dispute with Experian and upload documentation to prove this data as inaccurate/false, but their website was unable to upload the. PDF. XXXX is not easy to contact nor speak to a live person. They didn't seem to have answers as to why they reported this negative data to Experian in the first place!
