I pull have alerts set up on my credit as a result I received one stating that I have a collections account. I the called the place of business only to get brushed off by a staff member because I did not want to provide my personal identity information. I was not comfortable doing such because I have never done ANY BUSINESS with the merchant requested and I am not even sure how they were able to just plaster their info on my credit report without even have said proof. I DO NOT have any account with XXXXXXXX XXXX in fact I have never step foot on their property in over 2 decades. In fact, when I noticed a charge on my bank account initially back in XXXX of 2021, I immediately filed an unauthorized dispute with my bank. They closed the account and I thought that was the end of it. Now, they put an account on my credit when again I did not sign up for any account. Lastly on XXXX I called XXXX XXXX and explained that I personally was not the one who made the change on my card but knew who did and the charge was not authorized. I did not wish to prosecute the person because it was someone from my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX daycare center who also is a XXXX. At this point I feel like they took advantage of a situation and wish to hold someone accountable. However, that person is not me, I was working when this occurred and again DID NOT give anyone permission to use my bank card/XXXX XXXX or any financial Information to sign up for an account with these people. Nor did I sign anything EVER with the merchant agreeing today for anything. I tried to resolve the matter almost a year ago but they are now being vindictive to go the extra mile trying to force me to pay for what is clearly an unauthorized transaction.
