I ordered phones through XXXX XXXX XXXX. They sent me out an extra phone which was never activated nor opened. They even created a new account under my name for the said account. I attempted to call to rectify the situation with a call center representative, but the representative claimed that they couldn't see the account at which time I was transferred to a manager. Upon talking to the manager I was told that I shouldn't have been charged and that the account would be closed and all charges canceled. I looked at my credit report and the debt has been transferred to a debt collector. This collection has caused some creditors to lower my credit limit and impacted me negatively. If this account isn't removed promptly I do intend on seeking legal action and recovery against XXXX XXXX XXXX and the collection agency reporting the account on my credit profile. As this account is fraudulent and I never authorized a new account to be opened in my name this account and balance was supposed to be null and void. XXXX XXXX XXXX received the phone prior to XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I called to verify and was told it would be handled immediately. I contacted the debt collection agency and they have taken no action.
