Loan depot did not figure my escrow correct. They did not include the school taxes. I corrected the problem by paying them {$18000.00} to bring my escrow account up to date. Since they made a grave error I requested to pay my own escrow, because they are charging me {$6100.00} a month of which {$3700.00} is escrow. That brings my escrow account to {$45000.00} a year of which I owe approximately {$23000.00} a year. An overage of approximately {$22000.00} a year. I wrote a letter to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022 to cancel my escrow account and apply balance to principle and I will be responsible for my escrow account. No response from XXXX XXXX so I again wrote on XX/XX/2022 with no response. I then called on XX/XX/2022 and talked to XXXX XXXX and explained what had happened. He wrote back that the escrow department was looking at my request and would get back with me in 60 days. I told him this was unexceptionable. They have doubled my monthly payments for there mistake and I will have a hard time making the payments, which then they can foreclose on me and take my house. This is criminal behavior to me. Your help in this matter would be appreciated.
