Two months ago ( XXXX XXXX ) I submitted a request to Grain 's support ( Ticket XXXX ) asking for helping changing my attached bank account as I was closing my XXXX XXXX account and did not want disruption in my Grain account relative to payments. No one ever got back to me on this ticket. In XX/XX/2022, I submitted a request to close the Grain account ( Ticket XXXX ). No one ever got back to me on this ticket.2 Weeks ago I submitted another ticket XXXX to close this account. A response was provided I needed to pay the balance ( {$360.00} ) in order to close the account. However I am not able to make a payment unless I connect to a new bank account which is not allowed online nor in app. It can only be accomplished by support tickets which remain ineffective. Today I see that I have been charged a late fee and additional interest due to missing the last payment. I have trying for over 2 months to pay this account in full. I want this late payment removed from all credit bureaus and I want to be able to pay the balance and close the account. I actually liked Grain. Its been very helpful in helping me build up my credit. However their customer service/support is inadequate. I very badly need to be able to pay this account off and close it and they are making this task impossible. I submitted 2 more tickets today ( XXXX and XXXX ) requesting assistance in linking to a new bank and closing this account. I will even mail in a cashier 's check. I just need to be able to close this account and it shouldn't take XXXX plus months to do it.
