I applied for a personal loan with discover on XX/XX/XXXX. I was prequalified and was told in order to accept the loan they need todo a hard credit check. They did and I was approved ; I provided all the information I needed and was told within 24-48 hours I would receive an email to accept the loan. A couple hours later I checked the application status and it said I wasnt approved for the loan. I called and was told its a glitch in the system and give them 24-48 hours to fix it. I kept calling and was being told differently every time. I call on XX/XX/XXXX and was told its because my credit reports are frozen the problem occurred and I need to unfreeze them to proceed with the process ; I asked will it be another hard inquiry and was told no by XXXX XXXX. However I am seeing multiple hard inquiries from Discover. Its been 7 days and I am still waiting on an answer from them. This is unethical and I need discover to remove these hard inquiries and provide the proper reasoning behind the delay in processing.
