I called Sallie Mae to place my account in forbearance but the agent handling my case refused. He kept reinforcing that there isn't any options to postpone the payments. Meanwhile, the male agent begin to mock my tone of voice. Irritated, I asked to speak with his manager. After being transferred to his manager, she restated that I don't have any option of putting the account in forbearance, because of some plan they unknowingly reenrolled me in. Initially, I agreed to a repayment plan for 6 months. The 6 months were up but I continued to pay down on my loan. Due to financial hardship I am now unable to pay, so i called to get repaying postponed, but they denied any form of helping me.
