I initiated a purchase with the merchant XXXX on XX/XX/2022 with a Buy Now Pay Later servicer called Klarna. Through the Klarna service I created a one-time card for {$560.00} and the credit card I used to split the payments was charged {$160.00}. The merchant charged {$560.00} as an authorization until the items shipped. On XX/XX/2022 part of the order shipped and the card was then charged {$320.00} and was delivered on XX/XX/2022. The other half of the order was cancelled on XX/XX/2022 by the merchant and released the authorization hold for {$230.00}. I initiated a return with the merchant to ship back the part of the order I did receive and was issued a refund in the amount of {$300.00}. Also the balance on the Klarnas end should only be {$22.00} since the merchant confirmed the refund and authorization release. I have reached out to Klarna numerous times and they have refused to assist me, even after providing proof that the merchant did not charge the card and released the funds. This is clearly abuse on Klarnas part as they have made no effort to review their systems and correct the error. The merchant has been more than helpful in providing proof that they have indeed refunded and released the authorization hold. Klarna is attempting to steal money from me by not acknowledging the authorization hold release and providing me a refund to the credit card I used to split my payments with their service.
