XXXX XXXX XXXX Gave my account to Credence Resource Management , LLC for collecting my remaining Ambulance charges. Collection Agency name : Credence Resource Management LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Credence Resource management collected {$1000.00}. The actual amount I owed was {$520.00} ( Per XXXX insurance summary of benefits ). So Credence Resource falsely collected {$550.00} ( {$1000.00} - {$520.00} ) from me. On calling them multiple times for this issue and submitting my request to refund the remaining amount, Credence Resource Management denied it. ( I still don't know where my money is, or even if I will get it back ) Per the practices of FTC, a debt collector can not collect debt more than what a consumer owes. A federal action should be taken on Credence Resource Management for their unfair debt collection practices. When they called me to collect this payment they said that they can not wait until I hear back from XXXX insurance on my benefits summary and I need to owe them {$1000.00} right away. XXXX action should be taken for this. In return I must be compensated the nominal interest and the amount falsely charged.
