I lost my job due to Covid and have experienced financial hardship also due to hurricane Laura and delta. My home is unable to be occupied due to these hurricanes. I have hired an attorney to receive payment from my insurance company but am still awaiting results. My mortgage company m & t bank is telling me I am ineligible for any assistance due to the home being non owner occupied. I looked on huds website and it shows there is assistance available for non owner occupied homes.
