On XX/XX/2022 I submitted a remittance payment through XXXX XXXX Mail to Capital One for {$330.00}. Per UCC XXXX, if tender of payment of an amount due on an instrument is made to a person entitled to enforce the instrument, the obligation of the obligor to pay interest after the due date on the amount tendered is discharged. Capital One Bank did not honor my instrument. On XX/XX/2022, I received a Letter from Capital One staying my account ending in XXXX was closed. The letter also included that Capital One removed my name and address from Future Capital One Credit Card offers. As a Capital One customer I feel discriminated and devalued. Prior to this encounter, I never missed a payment. It is concerning and alarming how Capital One is allowed to violate Federal Laws against customers. All calls are recorded per Capital One Policy, pull the call, I never requested for my account to be closed.
