I have been denied access to the data in my consumer report that a company Data X has stored in their data base, this company is owned by Equifax. I contacted company in XX/XX/2020 and requested a copy of the report and the information in their credit files. Also Equifax would not allow me to dispute any items on the credit report from annualcreditreports.com unless you sign up for an account which is a monthly charge. Data X a company of Equifax will not allow you to get the information they provided to the creditor without filling out a form that includes all your personal information and wants you to submit by mail only and not email but states if they find a report after providing your current ID then it may be forwarded to you via usps regular mail not certified.
